Two busy days in NYC are over and we had a lot of fun, that's for sure. Our main man in the states, Pete Anderson, tagged along for the whole 1st day. Pete is an editor and when he has the time he helps us out where our knowledge in writing in English isn't enough. Except for his perfect language, he also has a great knowledge in the garments we work with.
It all started with meeting at The News Showroom who represents Common Projects and White Mountaineering, amongst others. Then we were off to meet Patrik Ervell at the Opening Ceremony showroom and then straight up to 38th street in the garment district, to visit the Nepenthes store and Engineered Garments showroom. We were also lucky to be walked around in the main E.G factory in the same building as the shop and showroom. That's tight production.
Perfect first two days and tomorrow we're of to the Ralph Lauren headquarters on Madison to look at some rugged gear fro RRL. Gonna be sick.
