There are plenty of black (rap and non-rap) artists that have an influence on popular culture, yet the majority of music noticed by Tres Bein on this blog seems primarily focused on rap artist and their music which negatively enforces stereotypes abroad about blacks in the US.
Well that's because it's a genre several of us at our office listens to, which is also explained in the article. We focus on what we like. Don't really get your point, should everybody stop listening to Jay-Z because he sold drugs? Or do you mean that YOU have the right to listen to it but not someone that is not from the US? I don't believe in that you enjoy art because the artist is a great role model. If I like Black Sabbath, I don't stop listening to them because Ozzy Ozburne bite the head off some pigeon on stage or consumed drugs.

Pls do not perpetuate the stereotype of American Blacks. We do not all listen to rap and grow up in the "Hood".
